Since the 2 tribes Nulhegan and Elnu were recognized there has not been a peep on Brads Blog or Douglas's? why? do you think that they have realized that with it came none of the doom & gloom they ranted about for years? that maybe there was no money to be had? that the state has not made a red (pardon the pun) cent off of them. They both seem to have gone silent why? because they were wrong? we would like to think that may be the case, we know they were wrong that is not up for debate…now our hope is that Groups like Maquam will sit down regroup and file and application with the VCNAA commission so they too can see that this is a fair & equitable process. If they choose not to they may wait in hopes that a NEW commission will be even more favorable. Sometimes good things come those who wait and then sometimes they don't. Our Hope is that ALL who should apply the VCNAA will help in any legal way they can to assist those who wish to do so…we hope our Sisters & Brothers who remain heed our advice it is the least we can do for each other as a People.
