THINK, THINK, THINK « BelCanto Creative – nick newman

DON'T OVER THINK

When Winnie The Pooh simply sat, ate some honey and said; "Hmmm. Think, think, think." I believe he had it correct. He always seemed so relaxed and at peace with life. Simplicity.

The Brain. A mysterious, wondrous, if not at times, frustrating part of our body.

I sometimes find myself "over thinking" many artistic expressions I love. My over thinking seems to lean into everything from movies, to art, music, graphics, etc.  For instance, after viewing a good movie, I am often driven to then pull it apart and analyze it. Things like: the lighting and cinematography. Was it shot, edited and colored well?  Was the screenwriting captivating? What was the filmmaker "really" trying to say?  Did they kill the opening credits?  Was the soundtrack rich and contributing?
