Guess how did my Labour Day go?

Awkward + a little surprise here and there.

So I was supposed to go up to my aunt's house and have dinner with her family. I'm my aunt's godson, so she asked me to go celebrate early Mother's Day with her family, but it's super awkward cause I haven been up there for a few years. (I used to go there like fortnightly to stay over when I was young, but not anymore) So my cousins and I cabbed up, and a freakishly funny incident happened.

We hailed one of the those old old citycabs, something like this.

nope, the uncle didn't smoke, i just couldn't find a better picture. anyway, here's the thing, my cousin's really big size, so naturally he would go on the front seat. and when he sat down, the whole taxi literally sank, and the taxi door hit the kerb and couldn't be closed. then we were all stunned. it's like LOL? then he had to get out of the taxi and wait for the taxi to move slightly forward and away from the kerb before he could get in and sit down. (the taxi still sank the 2nd time he sat)

thats the first surprise that made my day, it's really quite funny, though at the expense of my cousin.

went to Guancheng's house to watch soccer at night, and I just reached home, around 3am+ and guess what, my ahma is playing mahjong, overnight with her friends. I knew there was something wrong when I called her and told her I was coming home late, cause she didn't scold me or whatsoever. LOL, but it is kinda cool to have a grandma who plays mahjong overnight, she's setting the right example for me.
