Frazzle Shnazzle | gluttonandstudent

'Sup blog-dawgs?

I am done with classes for the day and completely mostly relaxed as I relay my daily gluttony to you. While I incessantly type away, I am noshing on a succulent cup of pineapple -

second pine-cup of the day, homies!

After my French class yesterday, I re-fueled for some mad studying (and blogging) with my 8th cup of green tea courtesy of Starbucks.

If you're looking to order green tea at Starbucks, do not ask for green tea. I REPEAT: DO NOT ASK FOR GREEN TEA. The green tea you're supplied with definitely isn't green tea – it's peppermint tea or some shit… Always ask for the Tazo China Green Tips. It has more of the sencha green tea taste you're used to.

I drink 4 cups of green tea a day (which will often increase to about 8 cups), and up to 18 cups of liquids (water and tea). If you want to insult green tea, I ain't the one to play with! Yesterday, my friend decided to try some of my iced tea and without delay gagged and nearly spit it out stating that it was reminiscent of liquified grass. Let's just say, I almost threw a glutton-fit…

This morning, I kicked off what turned out to be a cray-cray day with my daily 4 cups

this lil' ruby lady -

and some dairy chocolate chia seed puddin'

Yay! They gelled up! For some reason, I think chia seeds are uber cute. No?

I then went to my biology lab, where I'm pretty sure I failed my first lab quiz (-__-). However, this was remedied when we later extracted our own DNA and replicated it millions of times! Now, I'm just praying that my school doesn't clone me and send millions of Glutton'n'Students into the world…

Around lunch time, I went to one of the on-campus cafeterias to burn a meal (from my meal plan – I'm allotted 8 meals per week with my plan). When I got to the register, I discovered I had forgotten my student i.d. – this allows me to purchase meals – and had to pay with my debit card. Out of frustration, I completely forgot to document my main entree, which was a guacamole, Jack cheese and cucumber "burrito" – heavy on the cukes. The burrito was accompanied by two of these -

polished off the Soy chips (*tear*) -

a green banana -

which turned out to be quite unpalatable, and my lunch possibly involved some stress ingesting of chocolate chip cookies… and maybe a spoonful of cookie dough, too.

I discovered that I didn't only forget to bring my student i.d. to the cafeteria, I completely lost it. I expended all of my energy searching my dorm room – yielding no success – and ended up walking my frazzled self to student services to purchase a new i.d. card. What I didn't know, was that they had to take a new picture (I assumed they would just use my old picture). Let me tell you, this glutton was not ready for a picture! I would show you the new picture, but if that shit (excuse the language) makes me feel uncomfortable, I can't even imagine how awkward you would feel. I'm not one to care about primping or "lookin' hott", but sistah knows when she shouldn't be posing for her close up!

Later tonight, I have a date with the elliptical. To be honest, I'm not a fan of gyms. When I'm exercising, I like to be outdoors surrounded by fresh air, a starry night (I'm very sensitive to the sun) and the sounds of lil' critters. If I were to rank my favorite forms of exercise in order, it would be hiking, swimming and running.

I've been jogging at night for the past couple of weeks, but recently my shins have been struck by uncomfortable pains. They're not as bad as shin splints, but has definitely inhibited my running. A friend suggested the elliptical, so I'll give that a try.

But, what I'm really excited for is the day I'll be comfortable enough to get into a swim suit and get back into lap swimming. I was a competitive swimmer for 4 years! I'm not an athletically competitive person, so I didn't really focus on times or if I was winning, but I was definitely into technique. I was a breaststroke beast! (haha – still in terms of technique, guys)

When I get back from the elliptical, I have this waiting for me -
