Happy Easter! Easter is NOT about chicks and bunnies, baskets, bonnets, or chocolates. It is about Jesus' resurrection and triumph over death! Death and evil have been conquered! Because He has risen He has given us a new life, a new hope, a new promise, a new resurrection and defeat over death; we too will one day have eternal life.This is a good reason to rejoice and to be glad, to have hope and have faith in our Saviour! As for Vigil Mass last night it was 90 min. long(they skipped some readings and did a "short" version and we had no baptisms) and I wasn't too bad until Communion; kneeling I felt sweaty, restless, dizzy and faint but I made it thru! I am still recovering from my Flu but improving every day!
