A colony of sand martins excavating new and refurbishing old nesting burrows at the top end of Tycanol Ddole on the banks of the river Ithon 40+. Sighted a pair of Pied Flys in Woods across Ithon.A pair of Reed bunting sighted at the lake yesterday morn, were in the margins beach end, but have now moved on to the Island. Quite vocal hear the male quite plainly.
A walk around part of the golf links 2 Linnets, 1 lesser Redpoll , many willow warbs and chiffies no sighting of yellow hammers, although one heard and sighted on sunday.
